When there's a snow ordinance in effect you may be ticketed for parking on the wrong side the road. On even-numbered days, make sure to park on the even side of the street (not the Vote Smart side), and on odd days do the opposite.
To sign up for the email notifications and know when you should park on a specific side, go to [[https://subscribe.dmgov.org/]] and fill in the requisite information. Subscribe to the option that says "Snow-Odd/Even Parking Notifications".
