Wiki source for GASponsors
======Entering Votes - Finding Sponsors & Cosponsors======----
====Georgia====
**Example: SB 83
**
From the bill history page:

A list of sponsors is provided at the top of the bill history page, just under the links to the bill text (black arrow), and they do not distinguish between sponsors and cosponsors. However, the manner by which the information is presented on the website may be somewhat misleading, in that it looks like there are two committee sponsors as well (House Ways & Means Committee and Senate Finanace Committee) (red arrow). Those are actually the committees in which the bill passed through in order to advance to the floor for an up or down vote. It is possible that those committees sponsored a substitute bill, but they will not be labeled the sponsor of the introduced version.
Therefore, the PVS website will have only sponsors listed for this state. In this case, the sponsors are Reps. Rogers (C), Williams (T), Chance, Pearson, Hill (J) and Mullis.
