In order to provide the most accurate vote counts on key votes, Project Vote Smart interns will need to manually input the vote histories found in the physical bill folder into admin.

Below is an example of a vote history page from California. The Key Vote will always be marked by a star, a "KV" or "Key Vote", and the bill stage.

After finding this in the physical bill folder, you will follow the [[EnteringVotesStepbyStep Entering Votes Step by Step Guide]] and the [[Checklist Checklist]] to enter in the corresponding bill stages and key votes into admin.
