In the run-up to the Resident Evil 4 remake, fans have been sharing their favourite Easter Eggs online. The game was full of strange little quirks, both accidental and deliberate. After the mine cart section, there’s a skull which, when interacted with, will give you piles and piles of money. Some claim these are the takings from the enemies slain in the aforementioned cart level, others that the money was there regardless. I’m not sure if it will be back in the remake, but I’m leaning towards ‘no’ - it just seems a bit too silly for games these days to keep
Fortnite used to have that sense of style and visual identity, but it was lost after each and every crossover proved more popular than the last. Its earlier skins were Epic through and through, with its own designs like a lowly knight and glowing huntress kicking off the battle pass, but now you’ll find the Mandalorian front and centre. Overwatch 2 is off to a good start, however, with a completely unique battle pass full of its own cosmetics and brand-new legendary skins for heroes that are all about t

Https://Overwatch2Tactics.Com/ is like crawling through mousetraps to help your little brother up after he’s fallen, only for him to kick you in the face and call you a twat. It’s a thankless job, no matter how much you heal, and if you’re playing with randoms, you’ll often be hung out to dry in front of an ulting Moira and a hook-happy Roadhog. I swore off the role a couple of years ago, but Kiriko has roped me right back in, angry chat messages and thanks-spamming teammates be dam

https://picography.co/page/1/600"Overwatch 2 launched with an account merging feature, which would bring along any cosmetics and leftover currency from the previous game. Unfortunately, this feature hasn't been working as intended , and some players still don't have access to skins they bought back when Overwatch launched in 2
Part of the tinkering feels like vanity too. In Horizon Forbidden West , Aloy was too chatty when she was alone , remarking that items will be sent back to storage (somehow?) and repeating the same few lines over and over. People said it was annoying, so it was taken out. But surely they knew it was annoying? Surely part of the point was to make Aloy endearing in this way? I’m sure people think Aloy shutting the hell up is an improvement, but mostly it just feels like fixing something for the sake of it. It doesn’t feel like developers have the license to be creative and eccentric if a few people joking around online is enough for the studio to mandate changing the game. Gaming is becoming more risk averse, not less, in the presence of a constant safety
And then you get her cleanse ability which is perfect for tight spots where your healing just isn’t enough anymore. The amount of tanks I’ve saved in clutch moments in quick play with it is amazing and keeps the action going rather than leaving me helpless and doomed to sit in spectate while the overtime ticks down. Chuck in her ult that makes not only you heal and attack faster but your allies too, and she’s solidified as the best healer since Ana, but without the barrier to entry of using a sniper. I’m not very good at sniping, never mind juggling that and healing, so Kiriko is the perfect alternat
My old mains just aren’t fun anymore. Playing Mercy with well over 15,000 healing in lower ranks, keeping the team alive, resurrecting vital players, and helping push the payload, all while avoiding the focus of the entire enemy team, only to get a Cassidy spamming "I need healing" halfway across the map, is annoying ;
Lucio is fun but doesn’t always work on defence maps, and Bridgette depends on the synergy with the rest of your squad. Kiriko, however, lets me stand on my own two legs in fights, easily jump to my allies with her teleport ability so I can catch Cassidy being a prick and save him, and heal as standard. The versatility is unlike any other hea
The bone of contention was a soft salary cap that the company put on Overwatch League teams. While the Department of Justice was making ground, it seems that negotiations have come to a standstill. Reportedly, Activision Blizzard "refused to make certain concessions, including anti-salary cap rule changes that would last beyond the company’s impending acquisition by Microso
One D.Va bug is so powerful it launches her from the game into another lobby entirely . Nerf that. Also, Lucio’s Snow Fox skin may be a bit too flashy, as others can see the frosty fog effect coming off his boots through wal
While we're all enjoying playing Overwatch 2, it seems Blizzard is still struggling with certain aspects of the game, balance primarily. Sometimes it's a particular Hero, other times it's a map, and on some occasions, it's an entire game mode. When it's not balancing issues, it's the in-game store, which either pushes you to spend real money, or doesn't give you cosmetics you've owned since 2016. The cherry on top, however, is a legal matter between Activision-Blizzard and the US Department of Just
