Example: Find Boston Globe inside the Database
On the Summary Tab, click "Edit"

Necessary Fields to be Filled For Each Organization:
Org. Name
E-mail (general newsroom e-mail address,"news@, pressreleases@, newsdesk@, newsroom@, etc.)
Phone (main-line, switchboard or newsroom-line, labeled as such)
Website

Example, Find Individual: On the Boston Globe org page, click relationships tab, then click an individual contact.

Necessary Fields to be Filled for Each Individual
First, Last Name
E-mail (personal e-mail account)
Phone (direct line or switchboard or newsroom line)
Address (employer’s mailing address)

While in Edit: Below "Contact Details," notice more tabs:
Custom Data: Input Media Type/Format/Affiliation/etc.
Address: Input mailing address information
Communication Preference: (generally not used)
Tags and Groups: Select from a list of Tags and Groups to Organization/Individual too

Tip:
When inputting a new individual into the Database you will notice the "Current Employer" field. When designating an employer, you must type in the Organization Name here and wait for a drop down menu to show the Organization Name and then click. If you do not wait for the drop down menu and click the appropriate Org, then that individual will not show up on the relationships tab for the individual’s current employer.
Otherwise you are creating an entirely new organization, adding to the problem of multiple entries.
