Additions:
Advancing should generally be reserved for the Elections Director or Elections Monitoring Associate, as any error made can screw things up majorly. Do not, under any circumstances, advance election results unless you are positive that all winners, for all offices and districts up for election (even those unopposed) have been entered as won. If someone is not marked as won before advancing, they will automatically be marked as lost and no longer show up as an active candidate. In addition, if someone has their election status marked incorrectly prior to release, making corrections becomes ten times more challenging, so it is best to wait until you're confident that they are accurate prior to any advancing or releasing.
1) On Admin, under "Data," click on "Elections," taking you to the [[https://admin.votesmart.org/admin/elections.do Elections Section of Admin]]. All past elections are included on this list. DO NOT TOUCH PAST ELECTIONS. Be careful that you are selecting the proper state, office, and year.
1) Click on "Stage(s)"
1) Click on the appropriate election stage
1) Scroll down to the bottom where it says Election Result Release Status and select the appropriate release status (either internal web for checks or live web for release live).
1) Repeat for all other elections that are ready for release. When you believe all elections have been released, a query should be run to ensure all election results for passed election dates that year have a live release status.
1) You also need to make the election stage and the candidate list is also live for the next stage, if applicable. Otherwise, the election stage/candidates will not show up.
Deletions:
