Amending Committee Sponsors
In the event that a committee is the sponsor of legislation, amending that committee action is very similar to making any changes to individual members listed as sponsors and cosponsors. The only difference is that you click the "Committee Actions" button within the introduced status, as opposed to the "View Votes/Actions" button. This is true for adding committee sponsors, amending committee sponsors (although committees are never listed as a cosponsor), or removing committee sponsors. Here is an example:
Like individual members in the Votes/Actions window, adding and deleting committees will automatically be saved, while amending the action requires you to click the "Save" button.
