Rarely Used Flags:
CMG- Committed Giver: Committed givers are defined as a member of Vote Smart who has given a financial contribution in 6 of the last 8 years establishing consistency and longevity in their giving. As of July 2015, not used in any meaningful way. Committed Givers in another wiki were defined as: members since 1992, have donated money each year since 12-1-2001, and their total contributions equal at least $350, OR b. members who have donated at least $75 a year, eight out of the last 10 years. In the DonorPerfect database they have a "Flag" on their main page labeled CMG as well as a MEM flag (for member).
EMO- Email only: For members who have requested only email communication. As of February, 2014 this flag is being applied upon request, but we do not have a system in place for supporting email only communication.
MIL- Millennial member: Used for members who first donated when they were between 18-25. This flag was first used in 2011 so it is possible that members who have this flag may be outside of that age range by now. This flag has also been used for members who donate with the "student" rate from the 3 Ways to Help page (2013-2014)
NEW- Newsletter and info only: This flag designates people who don't want our regular solicitations. As of February 2014. No longer used because RK does not honor.
OTR- Off-the-Record debate attendee: The Off-the-Record debates were held in Tucson, AZ and this flag is used for all attendees who provided us with their contact information to send follow up information. As of July 2015, we haven't had an OTR debate in years, so this isn't very helpful.
PRO- Pro Access subscriber - a program from July 11, 2016 to mid-October 2016 where online users had to pay for access after using 15 pages of data. Cancelled in 10/16
REC- Recurring donation. This flag is for any member who has a recurring payment subscription set up. We do not use this anymore since we can run a query through the solicitation code instead.
REF- Referral, not yet a member: If a contact already has this flag, it is likely that a member contacted us and gave us the information for this person. When applying this flag in the future, use it for that same instance, when a member gives us contact information for someone they think will appreciate Vote Smart. This rarely ever occurs so we don’t use it.
REN- Renewal mailings only: Created for members who only want to receive 1 renewal request /year and they've established that they will give at the end of the calendar year. In December 2013 Richard instructed us to stop using this flag because all of our members need to receive our newsletters and ~-VSDMs.
VIS- Visitor, non-member - N/A since no longer at the ranch - could maybe be used in Iowa?

Very Old:
CON- Consultant: Not used as of February, 2014
COR- Corporate: Not used as of February, 2014
LED- Leads: Not used as of February, 2014
MED- Media: Not used as of February, 2014
