Caucuses, Commissions & Task Forces:

Do not include current legislative committee memberships in this section (current memberships go in the 'offices' tab and display in a different section on the website).

Former Legislative Committee Memberships
Please include committee memberships that an official is no longer a member of. You can only do this following an election, which is usually also the end of legislative sessions. You can find this information in the 'Offices' tab. New legislative sessions will have updated committee rosters, but the easiest way to go about this is to remove people from their old assignments before adding them to their new committees. Simply copy the name of the old committee and paste it into the 'Org.' field of the experience entry. You will usually have to add 'Committee' or 'Subcommittee' to the end of the committee name. Make sure to include the legislative body the committee belongs to after you enter the name of the committee. For the title, we always take the last position they held in that committee. This can be found under the 'Offices' tab. Click on the committee you are working on under 'Assigned Committees' and right below, you will see a drop down box with the previous position the person held. This should already be set and accurate. No dates should be included, so make sure to add 'Former' to the title.
Example
Former Chair, Education Committee, Florida State House of Representatives
Former Member, Subcommittee on Appropriations of Health Services, Florida State House of Representatives
Former Ranking Minority Member, Finance Committee, Nevada State Senate
