Workstation menus and desktop are not responsive
This seems to usually have to do with Pulse not running properly, or FS errors dealing with Compiz. A good way to usually fix the problem is to remove the ~/.compiz and ~/.pulse folders, along with the ~/.pulse-cookie file.
cd /home/[user] && rm -rf .compiz/ .pulse .pulse-cookie
