One of the more frustrating aspects of entering votes is when you encounter a vote for which no bill text is available. Overall, this is a relatively rare problem. However, legislative websites will sometimes fail to provide an updated copy of the bill text. Always contact the legislature to see if a copy can be provided via email before constructing a bill text. If no copy is available, constructing a bill text involves the following steps:
