An intern drafted letter sent to MJD/CMG flagged donors which will make these members aware of what the intern does on a daily basis and thanking them for their ongoing support.
Personalized phone thank you’s given by student interns.
Current PVS Members—Major Donors (MJD)
Create tiers (levels) of donors by analyzing our database constantly, with goal of moving current donors up to higher giving category. Analyze top givers, how recently have they given, how much, what else can we find out about them, etc. Designate (qualify) them in levels of giving, according to logical giving divisions in our database. (Move as many MJD up to levels 1-3 as possible.)
MJD 1—2-4 people, very top givers, more than $100,000 total
MJD 2—8-10 people, more than $16,000 total
MJD 3—50 people, between $5,000-16,000 total
MJD 4—400 people, between $1,000-5,000
MJD 5—800 people, between $500-1,000 in last 2 years
Have interns write thank you letters to MJD and CMG—Some can be personal and individual (MJD 1-3) and some automated (MJD 4 and down)
7. Online web seminars—get ideas we can use.
14. Brainstorm about what to give MJD to recognize their exceptional support—Certificates? "Circles of giving"?
15. Study list of individual & family foundation and trust donors and contact them about holding meetings at Ranch or visiting Ranch in 2009—by 5/31.
18. Analyze list of CMG that are not also MJD—by 6/30
Analyze lists of Member Volunteers/Interns and Ambassadors, looking for potential MJDs and bequests. Approach them similarly to the approaches for current MJD—by 5/30.
13. Hannah? Redesign Legacy brochure
