Heating and Cooling

Maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature is critical to safety, comfort, morale, and productivity. Drake is responsible for providing this utility. Alert the National Director and contact Drake Facilities if there is an issue.

There are two thermostats in the office: one facing north and one facing south. The north facing thermostat controls the north A/C unit that serves the open office areas (front and back office) and the server room. The south facing thermostat controls the south A/C unit that serves the restroom, kitchen, offices and conference room.

In shoulder seasons, the thermostat may need to be alternated between "Heat" and "Cool" during the day.

Cooling

Be sure the temperature is set to cool at 72 degrees in the warmer months.

The air conditioning in the server room is critical to operations. The north facing thermostat controls, in part, the temperature in that room. Periodically, ensure that the server room is at a comfortable temperature.

Heating

Be sure the temperature is set to heat at 74 degrees in the cooler months on the north facing thermostat. The south facing thermostat can be set to 72 degrees.
