IA File Server

(to be named) file & auth server to handle workgroup services for the IA office.

Random Notes

Should serve files for at least Linux workstations(perhaps windows as well)
Should be relatively easy to administer for someone new to the system(consultants)
Should handle auth across all workstations
Look into other ways to handle /home sync for users. Ideally something that doesn't make workstations unusable if the NFS server is unavailable or overloaded.
Hardware ordered from CDW(HP ProLiant DL60 Gen9) + 4x2TB Hitachi SAS drives
Remote/unattended administration tasks and automation should be taken into account(salt, really)
CentOS? Check out modern SUSE for enterprise services? RHEL?
