The charming Eevee evolution, Sylveon ex, shows off another crystal-like Terastallized form in the Pokémon TCG: Prismatic Evolutions set. The set focused on Eevee and its evolved forms and was supposed to have increased pull rates for its rare cards . Perhaps this is why Sylveon ex's value has decreased significantly since its launch in January 2
Collectors may have already moved on to the valuable cards appearing in the Mega Evolutions sets, but the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet _ series has many cards worth hundreds, or even thousands ** of dollars. Prices found here are using _TCGPlayer 's market prices to determine average costs for each card, and are always in constant fluctuations, so things are always liable to change** , but this provides a good look at where the market is
In terms of past ETBs, the ones for Mega Evolution doesn't feel all that different. It's got nice items for newcomers who may not have dice or coins yet, even if this box is mostly for collectors. The Alakazam promo in the Gardevoir ETB is one of the cooler cards I've seen featured in this year's offerings, and everything inside the box still feels high-qual
Mega Evolution ex cards of Venosaur, Lucario, Gardevoir, and Kangaskhan are all standouts, and will undoubtedly be chase cards, but even common cards like Shuckle (which can heal one of your Pokémon for 30 HP) have their uses. While I didn't get any of the biggest chase cards, I did pull regular Mega Evolution ex versions of Absol, Latias, and Gardevoir, which was enough for me to experiment with the new mecha
The latest **Pokémon Trading Card Game ** set is Mega Evolution , an appropriately named expansion that introduces "Mega Evolution ex" cards to the TCG. Presumably to coincide with the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A , which also brings back Megas, the newest cards focus on the incredibly popular gimmick from the Gen 6 ga
Even so, unless those pull rates change, MHRs will probably remain the rarest cards in the hobby overall. They'll likely always be a distant dream for the grand majority of **Pokémon TCG ** players, except the unusually lucky and those with disposable fu
Greninja ex has held its own since the Pokémon TCG: Twilight Masquerade set was released in May 2024, with its current TCGPlayer market price of $370.58 being only 30 cents lower than it was during our article on the most valuable cards for the set . Naturally, the card has still seen some price fluctuations, but overall, it has a low volatility rate, staying roughly around that same price po
At the time of writing, this sinister-looking card holds an average market value of $582.32 USD on TCGPlayer . Beware if you are planning on buying or selling, however, as this card has high volatility with sold prices showing as low as $
First up is the Battle Heart Tin featuring Pikachu EX. There have been tins released in the past which are always a good investment for collectors. This particular item depicts an embossed Pikachu on the lid below a clear plastic window. The lid is also depicts a contrasting pattern of a starry sky with a fiery background which makes it appear to subtly hint at Pokémon Sun and Moon. One could also imagine the celestial images as more mechanical which would represent Magearna and the fire is used for Volcanion. Both of these Pokémon, along with Pikachu, are printed along the sides of container. The look itself is very appealing and could appeal to fans of both the older and more recent generations. It can even be used to hold all kinds of Pokémon memorabilia when traveling to game nights and competitions.
Once again, the Pokémon TCG has launched an Elite Trainer Box to coincide with a set's release. This time, though, there are two ETBs to choose from — one featuring Gardevoir and one featuring Lucario. Depending on which box you get, you'll get card sleeves, a coin, and a box with that specific Pokémon on it. The Gardevoir ETB features an Alakazam promo card, while the Lucario ETB has a Riolu pro
No combination of Pokémon, Trainers, and Energy cards is perfect, and generally you'll have to reconfigure your deck before each gym to serve as a hard-counter to its core strategy. Like in the main series games, gyms use decks themed around specific types, but you shouldn't expect all the same type matchups from the games to work here. [[https://Pokemontcgdeck.com/ Pokemon TCG Collecting Guide|Https://Pokemontcgdeck.Com/]] types have been reshuffled to fit into six broader categories for the sake of simplicity - for instance, all flying-types in from the games are now normal-types with fighting resistances, so an all-fighting team will get wiped pretty easily by the normal gym.

Next, up is the Twilight Rogue themed deck with Dusk Lycanroc on the cover. This particular Lycanroc card has average HP with 120 and two attacks. First is Dangerous Rogue, which acts similar to Tropical Shake, as it deals 20 more for every Pokémon on your opponent's bench. If they were smart and see this card on the field, they'll want to refrain from stocking up. Lycanroc also has its signature Accelrock attack which deals a whopping 100! It lives up to its namesake by rocking you at an accelerated pace. The Dusknoir included, however, will help out with that strategy. Send it out first and you will be able to use its ability to place Pokémon from your opponent's hand onto their bench. Then, attach 30 damage counters to it in the process! You can speed up how quickly you want to knock them out. Its Mind Jack attack does the same thing as Dangerous Rogue but with 30 instead of 20.
image class="left" url="https://www.istockphoto.com/photos/class="Both decks offer some hard-hitting action which means every opponent you face is going to have to step it up. There are a surprising amount of Dark and Ghost type Pokémon found in the decks. Perhaps that's what happens when there is Forbidden Light. Strategizing shouldn't be hard as most of the cards involved compliment each other in some way. Amateurs could fair well in tournaments with either set. As always, every item comes with codes to enter so you can play with all these cards for Pokémon [[https://pokemontcgdeck.com/ Pokemon TCG Card list|https://pokemontcgdeck.com/]] Online.
This shadowy card for Zekrom ex, card 172/086, is currently listed on TCGPlayer with a market price of $457.52 USD. Its value has gone up and down a bit over the past couple months since the set released in July 2025, but has been fairly steady for a while
Along with those powerful cards comes some fun things as well. You receive a huge, much larger version of the Charizard-GX. It can't be used in legit competitions but makes for a nice collectible to be displayed. There are six booster packs from different sets. You will find cards from Guardians Rising and Burning Shadows expansions. A coin is included featuring Charizard. Use it during matches for certain attacks and other occurrences. Finally, show off a Charizard badge however you wish! It is fully colored and finely detailed. Place it on backpacks, clothing, purses and more to let everyone know your favorite Pokémon. These alone make the entire Charizard-GX Premium Collection well worth the price.
Magikarp may not be everyone's favorite Pokémon to use in battle, as it is not traditionally a strong or impressive little fish monster, but this card is certainly one to impress. Part of the Paldea Evolved set from June 2023, this holofoil card shows a market price of $370.20 USD on TCGPlayer as of the time of writ
We also received a Dawn Wings Necrozma-GX tin. A magnificently embossed image of the hybrid Pokémon is featured on front. A printed depiction of it as well as its Dusk Mane counterpart are on each side. It's a great item for collectors and anyone with plenty of Pokémon cards to carry around. Place all your Pokémon knickknacks in there for trips and events. Since you get the tin, the card automatically comes with. Dawn Wings Necrozma starts out as a Basic Pokémon which already makes it powerful. There is no need for evolutions so you can get right into the action. Its ability allows you to switch it into the fray if it's on the bench. That means, once you have attached three Psychic energy cards, you can unleash its Dark Flash attack which deals 120 damage and ignores resistance. If you want to get risky and use the GX move, Moon's Eclipse, it could help out in a jam as long as you have more prize cards than the opponent. It deals 180 damage and prevents all effects and damage to Dawn Wings Necrozma during the opponent's next turn.
We were also lucky enough to checkout some plush toys that are usually only available in a very specific manner. Those who pre-order Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are given one of three plush key chains of the Alolan starters: Litten, Popplio and Rowlet, each of which is so adorable. They are made of soft fabric and very detailed with all markings and features present, and are very high quality, coming directly from the Pokémon Center. Plastic hooks in matching colors are attached to each one. Use them to clip onto various belongings such as purses, car keys, curtain rods or backpacks just to name a few. For those who plan on getting Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the pre-order bonus isn't a bad deal at all, and hopefully you will be able to get the one you favor the most!
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Necrozma threatens existence. Half of the Ultra Recon Squad wants to stop it while the others wish to use its power. Forbidden Light features Necrozma recently absorbing the power of a legendary Pokémon. The rest of the Pokémon in existence must either choose to side with it or go up against it. So let's see exactly what's in store for your card battles with some items provided by TriplePoint PR.
