Press Conference and Stakeout Guidelines:
There are two Press Conference/Stakeout schedules, each completed once a week.
Collecting Press Statements and Stakeout Statements:
- Go to Federal News Service: http://www.fnsg.com/.
- Click "Advanced Search" under the search box.
- Select the date range for your schedule.
- Click "Search".
- Open conferences and stakeouts in new tabs.
- Enter statements for each official/candidate separately in Admin. Use BREAK IN TRANSCRIPT instead of entering the entire transcript for each official unless the official/candidate is speaking continuously for the entire transcript. Take the entire questions and answers section for press conferences.
- The source for these will be the Federal News Service page. Copy the copyright information after the title into Admin.
- For Type, select Interview if the entire transcript is Q&A and Statement if there is an opening remark before Q&A.
