"Prohibits" Examples:
- HR 2346 (U.S. Congress, 2009):
-Prohibits funds from being used to establish permanent military bases in Iraq or Afghanistan or exercise U.S. control over the oil resources of Iraq (Secs. 314-315).
- S 119 (NJ, 2009):
-Prohibits the arrest, prosecution, or penalty of any manner being imposed on a patient in possession of a registry identification card and up to six marijuana plants or one ounce of usable marijuana, and prevents the destruction of those amounts of marijuana if possessed by a qualified patient (Sec. 4).
- SB 77 (NM, 2009):
-Prohibits any individual from creating an embryo with the sole intent of donating it for research (Sec. 5).
