Regular Schedule Guide:
The schedules make up 70-80% of the Speeches Department collection numbers throughout the year. These schedules contain all current officials in Congressional and Gubernatorial positions, separated by Leadership/House/Senate/Governors and are very simply titled to make them easy to navigate. While these are some of the most commonly updated schedules, these are some of the first schedules to fall out of date, as they are some of the more lower priority schedules (House in particular) that we collect.
Each of these Regular Schedules have different priority levels, and should be updated at different rates:
1. Cong. Leadership: 2-3 times a week
2. House: 1-2 times a month
3. Senate: 2-3 times a month
4. Governors: 2-3 times a month
These priority levels are additional based on how much officials release statements and speeches (Senators release more than House) and these collection frequency is based on ensuring a schedule doesn't become too out of date and a large job to work through.
Each schedule will be set-up in a very similar format, including: state, candidate_id, name, website (always '.gov'), last date updated, and updated by. Open up the officials website and add into admin every release they have made since the last updated date (While referring to the 'Take/Don't Take' wiki). Once they are all completed, be sure to update completed date and completed by columns before moving to the next official.
