DevComm Tasks

The DevComm Tasks Sheet is a way to organize DevComm's very busy workflow in a more manageable way. This sheet includes both Dev and Comm responsibilities.

Below is an overview of each tab:

"Regular Tasks" - This tab contains daily, weekly, monthly, and bi-monthly tasks at the top, above the black line. Below the black line, there are quarterly and yearly tasks listed. This part of the tasks sheet uses excel formulas to auto-populate the date that tasks need to be completed by. Tasks are assigned to the staff member who is reponsible for completing them. In addition, the priority level for each task is listed.

"Long Term Projects" - This tab lists long-term tasks that DevComm needs to complete. There is an area to assign priority levels, whether or not the project was started, the staff member working on it, and a comments spot for more details on the project. The goal is to continue to get some of these tasks completed and not let the list get too long.

"Continue in Future" - This tab lists tasks that we used to complete, but stopped. This could be due to not enough DevComm time or other circumstances surrounding the department. This tab is for successful projects we used to complete that can be started up again when DevComm has the time and personnel resources needed.

"2017 Mailing Schedule" - This tab lists the drop date of all of our mailings, as well as the date that our most prominent and routinely scheduled email communications were sent out.

"2016 Mailing Schedule" - This will be good to look at in the next Presidential year, 2020!

In case something happens to the DevComm Tasks Sheet, below is an example from April 2017:
