- **Legislation-Appropriation**: This is applied to bills that are related to the fiscal year budget. In addition to a full budget, it is also applied to budget-related bills, including department-specific budgets, budget amendment bills, budget reconciliation bills, budget financing bills, etc. However, this should not be applied to bills that simply apply one or a few appropriations at the end of the bill to financing something that was included in the bill. To determine whether the type is "Legislation" or "Legislation-Appropriation," consult the official title, official summary, and press. Therefore, when you see the prefix "HB," "H," "SB," "S," etc., don't immediately assign the "Legislation" type to the bill - check to see if it is a budget or budget-related bill.
