Not only did we receive the long awaited Umbra Excalibur, which was nicely wrapped around compelling story missions, but we also picked up a brand new Prime update that should have a number of players happy. Limbo as a [[https://Warframebase.com/ warframe story Guide|https://warframebase.com/]] came out just under four years ago (44 months to be exact), and he wasn’t the most popular because his abilities could be detrimental to a team if not done properly. Fortunately, he had gotten better last year, and it only seems fit that he should be the next on the list to receive a Prime. Based on the scheduling, it could have easily been Chroma or Mesa, or someone a little further down the pipeline, but considering those two are already overly appealing, it might be better to give Limbo some love. We’ve taken a look at how this update holds up, and what stands out above all else.
The Equinox has powerful abilities on the field of battle, and both forms have their uses. In Night form, the Equinox can put enemies to sleep, decrease their damage, and can heal allies with every enemy kill. Earth and Venus have 9 Fragments to scan, while Ceres, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Lua, and The Void all have 10 Fragments. Mars, Phobos, Europa, and Saturn all have 15 Fragments, while Pluto and Sedna have 14. Eris and the Orokin Derelict are the hardest places to complete with 21 Fragments e
The second weapon added to the arsenal is the Destreza Prime. The Destreza in general has never been a personal favorite due to its limited range, but the Prime version is slowly making me a believer as it can rip right through armor like it’s nothing. This is unlike most melee weapons available, with the Endura being the one exception, as it’s a rapier that’s held in one hand and strikes forward, at least when not sliding. Oddly enough, the Prime version is nearly 10% slower than the standard Destreza, and damages 20% less in Puncture. Fortunately, everything else is boosted, with a higher critical chance and multiplier, along with the remaining attack values raising ever so slightly, and the status effect chance up over 3x what it originally was. It’s definitely a solid critical-centric weapon, and with the boost of status it should help it go further, but really, it’s nowhere near the level of weapons such as the Atterax which have a much wider spread of damage, which can bring entire rooms to their knees. At least it’s more versatile than say the Kronen Prime that came with the last Prime update, and it still holds up as a pretty good melee weapon.

Do whatever it takes to keep this farm interesting, as you’ll be here a while because you’re looking for a rare drop. It’ll feel awesome blowing away enemies in the beginning, but it gets old f

With her rebalance, the developers have released a Primed version of Zephyr and with it comes a slightly altered appearance and enhanced stats.

In the end, the latest Prime update for [[https://Warframebase.com/ Warframe platinum guide|https://Warframebase.com/]] is a worthy one. Outside of status damaging tornados, Zephyr is perhaps spread out a bit too thin, not necessarily doing anything better than anyone else. With that said, she is well rounded and a fast character to play as, so you’ll have a good variety of abilities at your disposal. She can glide, blast enemies, protect herself and take care of mobs with ease. What more do you want? Outside of the character herself, the Kronen Prime is unfortunately a less than ideal melee weapon thanks to it being outclassed in almost every situation, but on the positive side, Tiberon Prime is a phenomenal main weapon to bring into almost any scenario. Digital Extremes has done a fantastic job reworking Zephyr and giving her own Prime version; you probably won’t find her in the meta anytime soon, but she’s still a strong addition to the immense catalogue regardless.

Airburst is Zephyr’s newest ability and is a solid attack. It throws three projectiles forward and damages enemies in a radius upwards of 8 metres, which can be very useful for mobs. It’s not flashy by any means, but it gets the job done. The third ability Turbulence is a good way to ensure Zephyr will survive most encounters. It puts up a wind shield around the character, redirecting any potential damage. It can be a bit pricey on energy, but in a bind, it will save your butt when things get hectic. Finally, Tornado is one of the better aspects of Zephyr, giving her some fantastic crowd control, especially if you combine it with Airburst, which increases their height dramatically. These things can be devastating when you combine them with the interchangeable elemental damage, especially on enemies with high armor. This is maybe a bit too flashy at times as I’ve had my screen engulfed by numerous tornados, but so long as they’re doing what they’re meant to, it’s a good substitute for other CC attacks.
