The Vote Smart External Hard Drive is a WD MyPassport. As of writing (October 2019), it is formatted to be compatible with a Mac and/or Windows. If it needs to be used on a Linux computer, it needs to be reformatted. In that case, it would not work on Windows or Mac, where most editing software is available.
